Add a Buffer
Task.
You can add a buffer around a point to specify a distance around a selection of features. You can repeat this step for multiple locations, but add the area of focus or another distinguishable name in the layer name to make it easier to distinguish among them.
Open the layer.
Select Buffer and enter a distance, such as 20 kilometers.
Select Save as and name the new layer.
