Here's a summary of the common tasks you'll use when working in Analyst. These tasks represent the most common things you'll typically do when working with Resilience Insights. You can always refer back to Analyst Fundamentals if you want to explore Analyst even more.

  1. Create a project.

  2. Add a data layer. You can choose from any of our 100s of included data reference layers.

  3. Review the data layer information to review its source, description, vintage, and included columns.

  4. Customize the symbology to make maps more useful and legible.

  5. Set up the base map features to stylize the map.

  6. Filter and join by data columns, layers, or other criteria.

  7. Add buffers to extend your focus area within a specified distance, such as 10 kilometers, 1 mile, or other distances.

  8. Use the data tables to look up and export key information for the selected layer.

  9. Position and save maps for easy reference.

  10. Export maps to include in reports or to share with others.
