Can I change the project area of an existing project?
You cannot change the project area of an existing project. You can, however, create a new project with a different project area. If you're seeking to make minor changes to exclude features from an existing project area—for example, parcels that are included because they touch the project area boundary, yet fall outside the jurisdiction that you're working in—you can remove them from the Base Canvas. For more information, see Remove Features from the Base Canvas.
How large a project can I create?
Analyst limits the size of new projects by land area and census tract coverage. For parcel canvases, the maximum size is 50,000 km² or 350 tracts, whichever is smaller. If you need a larger project size, we can help with a solution. Please contact UrbanFootprint support for assistance.
Can I edit project details?
Yes, you can edit the name and description of a project if you have a user role of Editor, Admin, or Owner. You can edit project details from the Settings > Project page. See Manage Projects for steps.
Can I use Analyst outside the U.S.?
No, at this time Analyst is applicable for use within the United States only.
As an Editor, how can I create a project?
Users with the Editor role do not have the permission to create new projects. You can contact an Admin or Owner of your organization to create a project.
Can I find out who created a project?
Yes, we can provide this information for you. Please contact Analyst support for assistance. If you’re interested in the date of project creation, you can find it in the Settings > Project page. See Manage Projects for information on accessing project details.
How do I know if my organization has reached its user or project limits?
Once your organization has reached its limits, you will not be able to add new users or create new projects. You will be alerted via the platform upon trying to invite a new member or create a new project. For further information, please contact UrbanFootprint support.
Can I collaborate with another Analyst customer on a single project?
Yes, please contact Analyst support for assistance. |
